How To Play Mexican Hold'em
Mexican Hold’em
The game of Mexican Hold’em is played with a standard 52-card deck, except that all 8’s, 9’s and 10’s are removed from the deck for a total of 41 cards including the Joker.
The cards are dealt clock-wise starting from the Dealer button. Each of the 9 players receives two face down cards.
The Dealer will place five face up cards on the board, first three cards, (the flop), the turn card and the river card, each time the Dealer will burn one card. Whoever has the highest 5-card hand wins the game.
Best hand: Four Aces with the Joker.
Worst hand: 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 off suit.
If the Joker appears on the board face up, it is used as and automatic Ace and it can also be used to complete a Straight or a Flush.
